Swelling violin\, melodic vocals and steel slide guitar combine with dark bass grooves and driving drums to deliver a hauntingly beautiful sound that thrives on the myths of malefic witches\, lustful gods\, and unholy ghosts. Inspired by the haunting tones of Chelsea Wolfe\, the emotion and intensity of Delta Blues and the beauty of artists like Karen Elson.\n\nMaria Mirenzi (website | bandcamp | youtube | instagram) is singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Philadelphia\, PA whose music blends genres of indie/alt rock\, folk and pop. Her 2025 debut EP “All’s Well” shares poignant stories about heartbreak\, anxiety\, and battling her own cynicism with the hope of moving forward. Maria’s vocal performance on the EP is growling yet soothing and accentuates her whimsical and untraditional songwriting style. “All’s Well” was created in collaboration with her partner and Grammy Award Winning Engineer\, Matt Poirier\, and would not have been possible without her wonderful bandmates and the Philly studios that welcomed them in. In a continual search for the truth\, her lyrics are filled with paradoxes and multiple perspectives\, as she attempts to embrace the grey areas of life. Receiving comparisons to Suzanne Vega and Kathleen Edwards\, Goode’s debut album\, Things I’ve Said Before\, released September 2025\, is an introduction to the indie-folk artist who straddles the borders between different worlds. A nylon-string guitarist nodding to the classical training and contemporary influences of her past while pushing toward a wider sound\, she creates her own version of modern-day American roots music: one that “has an intimacy to it that feels almost intrusive\,” according to Glide Magazine. Remi tours nationally in a duo with longtime collaborator and partner\, Gabe Lehrer\, featuring intricate interlocking guitar arrangements and close vocal harmonies.\n\nNew York based indie alt-folk singer songwriter Amy Jay’s songs are like plastic knives—pliable\, yet cutting. Since picking up the guitar and songwriting at the start of the pandemic\, she has released a full-length debut album and performed across the country. Her music blends intimate storytelling\, expressive open tunings\, and influences from artists like Adrianne Lenker\, Mitski\, Samia\, and many more. Being from the Washington D.C. area and São Paulo and forming the group in Switzerland and then living in New York and settling in the D.C. area\, they pull from many different influences\, creating a unique and inter-genre repertoire that explores interplay in a fresh and captivating way. Their duo EP “Vapor Trails” recorded in Basel Switzerland where the two met was released in the summer of 2019 and they are currently releasing their debut full length album Catalog of Dreams in August 2026 on Challenge Records. The duo has played all around the world from jazz clubs to concert halls; from the East Coast to Brazil and all around Europe\, always with the intention of giving the audience a unique experience that insights exploration and wonder.\n\nAfter more than six years of performing\, touring\, and creating together\, flutist/vocalist Alex Hamburger & pianist/keyboardist José Luiz Martins present Catalog of Dreams\, their debut duo album. Featuring six reimagined works alongside two original compositions\, the album reflects the pair’s shared musical language\, drawing from Brazilian music\, jazz\, the Great American Songbook\, and contemporary influences. Recorded following a creative residency in Switzerland\, Catalog of Dreams captures the duo’s intimate yet groove-driven approach through a repertoire that includes music by Gilberto Gil\, Airto Moreira\, Wayne Shorter\, Luisa Lacerda\, and Thundercat\, alongside original compositions that showcase their evolving artistic partnership. Thoughtfully arranged while leaving space for spontaneity\, the album highlights two acclaimed musicians whose individual voices have merged into a singular sound.\n\nNathan Salsburg is one of his generation’s most gifted and idiosyncratic acoustic guitarists. Since 2011\, when the first of his eight solo albums was released\, he has quietly established a style marked by a depth and a complexity wholly his own\, drawing on abiding interests in minimalism\, rural American vernacular musics\, and the work of British folk revivalists like Dick Gaughan\, Dolly Collins\, and Nic Jones. He’s a frequent collaborator of songwriter-singer Joan Shelley (his wife) and Chicago multi-instrumentalist James Elkington\, and has contributed to recordings by Shirley Collins\, Bonnie “Prince” Billy\, the Weather Station\, and Jake Xerxes Fussell\, among others. For three decades Salsburg served as curator of the digital Alan Lomax Archive.
